About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Telecoms Network Technician to join their expanding operations in Coventry . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client's telecommunications infrastructure. You will be involved in hands-on installation, configuration, and repair of network equipment, contributing directly to the quality of service provided. This position offers a blend of on-site responsibilities and remote support, requiring a candidate who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and possesses strong technical aptitude in a hybrid work setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications hardware and software.
• Perform routine diagnostics and troubleshooting on network equipment and services.
• Respond to network incidents and service outages, implementing timely resolutions.
• Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and expansions.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and technical issues.
• Provide technical support to end-users and other technical teams.

Requirements

• Relevant vocational training or associate's degree in a technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Telecoms Technician or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with telecom network infrastructure and equipment.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
