About the Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious and driven Telecoms Sales Executive to join their expanding sales team, based in or near Sunderland . This role will focus on generating new business opportunities and managing key client relationships within the telecommunications sector, contributing to revenue growth and market penetration. The position offers a hybrid working model, combining field-based client meetings with remote work for planning, reporting, and internal collaborations. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close deals and build lasting customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities within the telecoms market through various channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their business needs.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets.
- Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery post-sale.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the telecommunications industry or technology sector.
- Excellent understanding of telecom products and services (e.g., connectivity, mobile, cloud solutions).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively in a hybrid work setting.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient with a proactive approach to sales.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for client visits.
