About the Role

Our client is looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Tour Guide to create memorable experiences for visitors exploring the rich history and culture of Glasgow , operating primarily remotely with flexible location requirements. You will design and deliver captivating tours, sharing insights into local landmarks, history, and hidden gems. This role requires excellent storytelling abilities, a passion for the city, and the flexibility to adapt tours based on client interests and feedback, all managed through a remote-first approach to coordination and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and informative tours of Glasgow ’s landmarks and points of interest.
• Research and stay updated on local history, culture, and current events.
• Adapt tour content to suit diverse audiences, including international visitors and corporate groups.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of tour participants throughout the experience.
• Manage tour bookings, communications, and client feedback remotely.
• Promote a positive and memorable experience for all tour attendees.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Glasgow ’s history, culture, and attractions.
• Excellent public speaking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of people.
