You will be an ambassador for the city, creating memorable experiences for tourists and locals alike, working primarily outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver informative, engaging, and entertaining historical walking tours to groups of varying sizes.
• Research and stay up-to-date on local history, landmarks, and points of interest to provide accurate and compelling narratives.
• Adapt tour content and delivery style to suit different audiences, including families, students, and international visitors.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of tour participants, managing group dynamics effectively.
• Answer questions from tour participants knowledgeably and enthusiastically.
• Promote a positive image of the city and the tour company through excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Demonstrable passion for and extensive knowledge of local history and landmarks.
• Excellent storytelling, public speaking, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and connect with diverse groups of people.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
• Physical ability to lead walking tours for extended periods.
• Previous experience as a Tour Guide or in a public-facing customer service role is advantageous.
