UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and insightful UX Researcher to join their innovative product development team in Wolverhampton . This role is crucial in understanding user behaviours, needs, and motivations to inform the design of intuitive and effective digital products. You will conduct a variety of research studies, analyze findings, and present actionable insights to product and design teams. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct a range of qualitative and quantitative UX research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and contextual inquiries.
• Analyze research data to identify key user pain points, behaviours, and preferences, synthesizing findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research findings into the product development lifecycle.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to communicate user insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Present research findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership, advocating for user needs.
• Stay current with UX research methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Researcher or similar role, with a portfolio demonstrating research projects and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Proficiency in using research tools and platforms for data collection and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate findings persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
