About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and insightful UX Researcher to join their product development team in Leeds . In this role, you will be at the forefront of understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations through rigorous research methodologies. Your insights will directly inform product design and strategy, ensuring that our client's digital offerings are user-friendly, effective, and desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on product development by championing the voice of the user and uncovering valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a variety of user research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify key user pain points, needs, and opportunities.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations for product teams, presented in clear and compelling reports and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user feedback throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Advocate for the user by sharing research insights across the organization, fostering a user-centered design culture in Leeds .
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in UX research, with a demonstrable portfolio of research projects.
- Proficiency in various qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
