UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client, a prominent technology firm situated in the historic city of Oxford , is actively seeking an insightful and empathetic UX Researcher to join their dedicated product team. You will be instrumental in understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through rigorous research methodologies, translating these findings into actionable insights that guide product design and development. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify key user needs, pain points, and patterns.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate research findings effectively.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research insights into the product development lifecycle.
• Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product design process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UX research or a similar user-centered research role.
• Proven experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings compellingly.
• Familiarity with user research tools and platforms.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field is preferred.
