UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and analytical UX Researcher to join their product development team based in Cambridge . This role is critical in understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform the design and development of intuitive and effective digital products. You will conduct a variety of research activities, synthesize findings, and translate them into actionable insights that guide product strategy and enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries.
• Analyze research data to identify user pain points, needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights, presented through reports, personas, and user journey maps.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user insights into the product development lifecycle.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring user needs are prioritized.
• Stay current with the latest UX research methodologies and technologies to continuously improve research practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Researcher , User Researcher, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of research projects.
• Proficiency in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate research findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in Cambridge .
