Validation Engineer - Pharmaceutical Equipment

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Stoke-on-Trent , is seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to ensure the compliance and performance of their critical manufacturing and laboratory equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and laboratory instruments.
• Perform revalidations and changeover validations as required by manufacturing changes or regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure validation activities are aligned with project timelines and requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete validation documentation and ensure compliance with cGMP regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment qualification and validation.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing expertise on validation processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, and MHRA guidelines pertaining to validation.
• Familiarity with various types of pharmaceutical equipment, including reactors, filtration systems, and analytical instruments.
• Excellent technical writing skills for protocol and report generation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
