About the Role
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Stoke-on-Trent , is seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to ensure the compliance and performance of their critical manufacturing and laboratory equipment. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of the production environment and ensuring that all systems operate according to predefined specifications and regulatory standards. You will play a key part in the qualification and validation lifecycle of equipment, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and document validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and laboratory instruments.
- Perform revalidations and changeover validations as required by manufacturing changes or regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure validation activities are aligned with project timelines and requirements.
- Maintain accurate and complete validation documentation and ensure compliance with cGMP regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment qualification and validation.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing expertise on validation processes and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, and MHRA guidelines pertaining to validation.
- Familiarity with various types of pharmaceutical equipment, including reactors, filtration systems, and analytical instruments.
- Excellent technical writing skills for protocol and report generation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
