Warehouse Associate - Remote Oversight

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Warehouse Associate to join their team, operating under a hybrid model that allows for remote oversight and coordination. While the physical warehouse operations are on-site, this role focuses on the digital management, tracking, and optimization of warehouse processes. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating stock movements, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the distribution network. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to warehouse operations with a blend of remote work and on-site engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring data accuracy .
• Coordinate with on-site teams to schedule inbound and outbound shipments and manage warehouse flow.
• Monitor stock levels and flag any discrepancies or potential shortages for timely resolution.
• Generate reports on warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, and dispatch.
• Utilize digital tools and communication platforms to liaise effectively with warehouse staff and management.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy, both remotely and on-site.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with both on-site and remote teams.
• Ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule and manage responsibilities effectively.
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
