Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead their operational team in Bristol . This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all processes. You will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse operatives, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team.
• Ensure all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch, are performed efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct training to enhance skills.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular checks and reconciliation.
• Liaise with management to report on operational status and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
