Year 7 Teaching Assistant 📍 Hackney 💰 £95-£132 per day 📅 28 September - 18 December SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a specialist secondary school in Hackney. Supporting a Year 7 class of 14 pupils, you will help students access learning, build confidence, develop communication skills, and engage positively throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

Support students during lessons Promote positive behaviour and engagement Assist with communication and emotional regulation Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom

Requirements

Experience working with young people preferred SEND experience desirable but not essential Patient, proactive, and resilient Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Pay and Progression

Pay ranges from £95-£132 per day based on experience, qualifications, SEND knowledge, and specialist school experience.
