Key Responsibilities

• Engage with young people, building trust and providing a supportive listening ear.
• Develop and deliver engaging programs and activities designed to enhance life skills and social development.
• Provide guidance on issues such as education, employment, housing, and mental well-being.
• Act as a positive role model, offering encouragement and practical advice.
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and families to ensure a holistic support network.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and support provided.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in a support , educational, or youth work setting.
• Strong understanding of the challenges and needs faced by young people today.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations effectively.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in youth work, social care, or a related field are desirable.
