Key Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual designs for aircraft components, structures, and systems using CAD software.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications for manufacturing.
- Perform stress analysis, material selection, and trade studies to optimize designs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are producible and cost-effective.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in the validation and verification of engineered solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant aerospace standards and regulatory requirements .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in aerospace design , preferably with a focus on airframes or related systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and CAE tools for analysis.
- Strong understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and structural principles.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for aircraft design and certification.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
