About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Aircraft Electrical Engineer to contribute to their innovative aviation projects based in Southampton . This role involves the design, development, testing, and integration of electrical systems for aircraft. You will work on cutting-edge technology, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a key part in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of our aircraft. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement aircraft electrical power distribution systems, wiring harnesses, and control systems.
- Perform electrical system analysis, including load analysis, fault analysis, and signal integrity.
- Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams , and design documentation using CAD software.
- Oversee the integration and testing of electrical systems on prototype and production aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues encountered during design, manufacturing, or flight testing phases.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, systems engineers, and software developers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in aircraft electrical system design and development.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of aerospace standards, regulations (e.g., FAA , EASA), and best practices for electrical systems.
- Experience with power systems, avionics, and communication systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
