Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and optimize aircraft engine components and systems, including combustion, turbine, and nozzle sections.
- Utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to model and predict engine performance and structural integrity.
- Develop and conduct experimental tests on engine components and systems, analyzing results to validate designs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure the successful production of propulsion components.
- Ensure compliance with stringent aerospace regulations and safety standards for aircraft engines .
- Troubleshoot engine performance issues and provide engineering solutions for in-service engines.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in propulsion systems .
- Extensive experience in aircraft engine design, analysis, and testing, with strong knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Proficiency in using specialized software for CFD, FEA, and engine performance simulation.
- Familiarity with aerospace materials and manufacturing processes relevant to engine components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical projects effectively.
