About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Body Shop Technician to join their state-of-the-art facility in Nottingham . You will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork following accidents or damage, ensuring a high standard of finish and structural integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural repairs on vehicle chassis and body panels using specialized equipment.
• Repair dents, scratches, and other damage to vehicle bodywork using appropriate filling, sanding, and shaping techniques.
• Replace damaged body panels, windows, and trim components as necessary.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, ensuring they are clean, smooth, and properly primed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Body Shop Technician or Panel Beater.
• Proficiency in using body repair tools and equipment, including welders, cutters, and chassis alignment systems.
• Knowledge of different vehicle materials (steel, aluminum, plastics) and repair methods.
• Ability to interpret vehicle repair manuals and diagrams.
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina for the demands of the role.
