About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and technically proficient BIM Coordinator to join their expanding architecture team, working entirely remotely . This role is essential for ensuring the successful implementation and coordination of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across all project phases. You will work closely with architects, technologists, and external consultants to manage and federate BIM models, conduct clash detection, and maintain the integrity of project data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of BIM workflows, exceptional software skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within a virtual team, contributing to efficient project delivery and high-quality design outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage BIM models from various disciplines, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Perform clash detection and report on issues, collaborating with project teams to resolve conflicts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance on BIM software and workflows to the architectural team.
- Maintain and organize project BIM data and documentation in a remote accessible environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role within an architectural practice.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and experience with model checking/clash detection software (e.g., Navisworks).
- Good understanding of BIM standards and best practices, such as ISO 19650.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for virtual collaboration.
