About the Role
Our client, a multi-disciplinary design consultancy, is seeking a proficient BIM Coordinator with a strong architectural background to support their projects in Reading . This role is critical for ensuring the effective implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across various projects. You will be responsible for developing BIM strategies, setting up project templates, managing federated models, and coordinating information exchange between disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled individual to play a key role in driving digital construction practices and improving project delivery efficiency, working within a collaborative environment that embraces innovation in digital design and construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans for architectural projects.
- Set up and manage Revit project templates and standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architectural, structural, and M&E design teams using BIM software.
- Conduct clash detection analysis and facilitate resolution of clashes.
- Ensure adherence to BIM protocols and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide BIM training and support to project team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or Technician within an architectural practice.
- In-depth knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
- Understanding of BIM Level 2 requirements and workflows.
- Familiarity with various architectural design stages and documentation.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and organize large datasets.
