About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Biostatistician to join their expanding pharmaceutical research and development team in Norwich . This role is central to the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data, playing a crucial role in the drug development process. You will work closely with clinical teams, data managers, and researchers to ensure the statistical integrity of studies and the robust analysis of results, contributing directly to regulatory submissions and the advancement of new therapies. This position is based within a collaborative research environment known for its commitment to scientific excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design clinical trial protocols, sample size calculations, and statistical analysis plans.
- Perform statistical analysis of clinical trial data using SAS or R, and interpret the results.
- Contribute to the preparation of clinical study reports, manuscripts for publication, and regulatory submission documents.
- Collaborate with clinical operations and data management teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Provide statistical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the drug development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SAS or R.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design, statistical methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for collaborating in the Norwich research hub.
