About the Role
Our client is looking for a diligent and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial records for their business operations in Norwich . This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial data, processing transactions, and supporting the wider finance team. You will work within a hybrid setup, combining office-based duties with remote flexibility to ensure efficient bookkeeping practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers for all financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment allocation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
- Generate financial reports as required by management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with AAT qualification or equivalent.
- Proficiency with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and double-entry accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid environment.
