About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-driven Chemical Plant Operations Manager to oversee and lead their operations in Belfast . Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of chemical plant operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of plant supervisors and operators.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure the reliability of plant equipment.
• Manage operational budgets and capital expenditure projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in chemical plant operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven track record of improving operational performance and safety metrics.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and plant equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
