Our client is seeking a dedicated Chemical Process Engineer with a specialization in environmental applications to join their team in Nottingham . This role is focused on developing and optimizing processes that minimize environmental impact, enhance sustainability, and ensure compliance with stringent environmental regulations. You will work on projects related to waste treatment, emissions control, and the development of greener chemical methodologies. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for environmental applications, such as wastewater treatment and air pollution control.
- Conduct feasibility studies and pilot trials for new environmental technologies and process modifications.
- Ensure all processes comply with current environmental legislation and company sustainability goals.
- Monitor and analyze environmental performance data, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering with a focus on environmental aspects.

- Experience with process simulation tools applied to environmental systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to environmental challenges.
- Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
