This role focuses on the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of chemical manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes for improved efficiency and yield.
- Develop conceptual designs for new chemical processes and equipment, considering scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
- Ensure all process designs comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for proposed process modifications or new technologies.
- Support pilot plant trials and full-scale production, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Proven experience in chemical process design and development.
- Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and unit operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
