Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations in Nottingham . As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will be responsible for the company's financial health, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. This role demands exceptional leadership in financial strategy and a commitment to driving sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support the company's long-term growth and profitability.
• Manage financial risk, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, providing accurate and timely financial insights.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, investors, and financial institutions.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and the board of directors.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance).
• Proven track record of financial management, strategic planning, and corporate finance.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and investment analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing financial operations in a hybrid setting within the Nottingham area.
• Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent qualification is required; MBA is a plus.
