About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
• Manage and optimize the company's capital structure and fundraising efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting requirements, and governance standards.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other key financial stakeholders.
• Provide strategic financial insights and guidance to the Board of Directors and executive team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior financial executive, preferably in a remote-first or distributed organisation.
• Proven track record in financial strategy, capital markets, M&A, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and risk management.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA or equivalent is highly desirable.
