Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Manage and optimize the company's capital structure and fundraising efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting requirements, and governance standards.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other key financial stakeholders.
- Provide strategic financial insights and guidance to the Board of Directors and executive team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior financial executive, preferably in a remote-first or distributed organisation.
- Proven track record in financial strategy, capital markets, M&A, and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and risk management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA or equivalent is highly desirable.
