About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Childcare Development Officer to join their organisation in Oxford . This role is focused on enhancing the quality of childcare provision across a network of settings, providing support, training, and strategic development. You will work with nurseries, childminders, and other early years providers to improve standards, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a proven ability to drive improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support to early years providers to enhance the quality of their services.
- Develop and deliver training programs for childcare professionals on various aspects of early years practice.
- Conduct quality assurance visits and assessments, identifying areas for development and recommending improvements.
- Support the implementation of the EYFS framework and other relevant legislation.
- Facilitate networking and collaboration opportunities among childcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of local and national childcare strategies.
Requirements
- Relevant Level 5 or 6 qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Extensive experience in managing or working within an early years setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and quality assurance in childcare.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training delivery skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategic improvement plans.
- Experience in project management or professional development initiatives.
