Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, from initial planning and design to construction oversight and handover in Birmingham .
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to guarantee compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical challenges as they arise.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation for all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, ideally with exposure to urban development or regeneration projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard CAD tools.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and site safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of planning processes and regulatory requirements in the West Midlands area.
