About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster to join their growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . In this role, you will be responsible for investigating insurance claims, determining liability, and negotiating fair settlements for policyholders. You will play a crucial part in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing a professional and efficient claims handling service. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate insurance claims thoroughly, gathering all necessary documentation and evidence.
• Assess the extent of damage or loss and determine the validity of claims according to policy terms.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, witnesses, and other involved parties to obtain information.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives in a fair and timely manner.
• Prepare detailed reports on claim investigations, findings, and settlement recommendations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a related claims handling role.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and claims procedures.
• Excellent investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office Suite .
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a hybrid work setting.
