Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dynamic clinical operations team in Coventry . This critical role is responsible for monitoring clinical trials to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. You will play a vital part in bringing new and life-saving medications to patients by meticulously overseeing trial sites and ensuring data integrity. Working closely with investigators, site staff, and internal project teams, you will contribute to the successful execution of groundbreaking clinical research within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, fostering a commitment to patient safety and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits for clinical trial sites.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of clinical trial data through source data verification (SDV).
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, investigational plans, and all applicable regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA, GCP).
• Manage and resolve issues arising at clinical trial sites, escalating as necessary.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with investigators and site personnel.
• Prepare and present monitoring reports, documenting all site activities and findings accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate , with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and sites.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel extensively to clinical trial sites.
