Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their growing operations team in Coventry . This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials, overseeing site management, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. You will be a key point of contact for clinical trial sites, working collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and data accuracy. This hybrid position offers a balance of on-site engagement and remote flexibility, perfect for an experienced CRA looking to make a significant impact on vital research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) , and all applicable regulations.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of clinical data through source data verification (SDV).
• Conduct pre-study, initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits at clinical investigator sites.
• Train and support site staff on study-specific procedures, regulatory requirements, and data reporting.
• Identify, track, and resolve site-level issues and risks to ensure study timelines and objectives are met.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate site and study documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical trials in the UK and EU.
• Proven experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with site personnel.
• Willingness to travel to clinical trial sites across the designated region.
