Construction Site Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee operations on various sites in and around Norwich . You will be responsible for ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards, acting as the direct link between site teams and management. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a practical understanding of construction processes to ensure project success on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, ensuring work progresses according to the construction schedule.
• Monitor site safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate the work of subcontractors and direct labor, allocating tasks and managing resources effectively.
• Conduct regular site inspections to check the quality of workmanship and materials used.
• Maintain site records, including daily logs, safety reports, and delivery notes.
• Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, reporting on progress, issues, and potential risks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role on construction sites.
• Solid understanding of construction techniques, materials, and safety best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• CSCS card or equivalent certification is essential for this role in Norwich .
