About the Role
Our client, a leading charitable organisation with a strong presence in Liverpool , is seeking a strategic and experienced Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager . This role is pivotal in developing and implementing impactful CSR initiatives, fostering strong relationships with corporate partners, and ensuring the charity's mission is integrated into business sustainability strategies. You will be responsible for driving engagement, securing corporate support, and maximising the positive social and environmental impact achieved through these partnerships. This hybrid role allows for flexibility between office-based strategic planning and remote working.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive CSR strategy that aligns with the charity's objectives and engages corporate partners.
- Identify and cultivate new corporate partnerships, focusing on mutually beneficial collaborations and cause-related marketing opportunities.
- Manage and nurture existing relationships with corporate sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Design and oversee CSR programmes, employee volunteering initiatives, and fundraising campaigns targeting businesses.
- Measure and report on the impact and effectiveness of CSR activities, providing insights to senior management and partners.
- Represent the charity at corporate events and networking opportunities to raise its profile and attract new support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in CSR, corporate partnerships, or business development, ideally within the charity sector or a related corporate function.
- Demonstrable success in building and managing strategic relationships with corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of CSR principles, sustainability practices, and ethical business conduct.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in project management and event coordination.
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
