About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Data Scientist with a specialization in Cheminformatics to join their fully remote, cutting-edge research and development division. In this role, you will apply advanced computational methods and machine learning techniques to analyze chemical data, support drug discovery efforts, and develop predictive models for molecular properties. You will collaborate closely with a distributed team of medicinal chemists, computational chemists, and biologists to accelerate the identification and optimization of novel compounds. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply machine learning models for predicting molecular properties, ADMET, and drug-likeness.

- Collaborate with medicinal chemists to support hit identification and lead optimization campaigns.
- Build and maintain databases of chemical information and experimental results.
- Communicate complex findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in a remote setting.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Cheminformatics , Computational Chemistry, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in applying data science and machine learning techniques to chemical data.
- Proficiency with cheminformatics toolkits (e.g., RDKit, OpenBabel) and programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Experience with chemical databases and molecular modeling concepts.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
