DeFi Developer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a passionate DeFi Developer to join their forward-thinking team in Sunderland . You will be at the forefront of building innovative financial products and services leveraging blockchain and decentralized finance (DeFi) technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts, and integrating with various DeFi protocols to create user-friendly and secure decentralized applications. You will contribute to a company that is pushing the boundaries of digital finance, working in a collaborative environment that values creativity and technical expertise in the rapidly evolving crypto landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain smart contracts for various DeFi applications, including lending, borrowing, and trading platforms.
• Integrate with established DeFi protocols and liquidity pools across different blockchain networks.
• Design and implement secure and efficient tokenomics models and economic incentives.
• Build user interfaces and backend services to support DeFi product functionalities.
• Conduct thorough testing, security audits, and performance optimizations for all developed solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the DeFi ecosystem and blockchain technology.

Requirements

• Strong experience in smart contract development using Solidity and proficiency with DeFi protocols.
• Familiarity with various blockchain networks such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon.
• Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and backend technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of financial markets, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and security best practices in finance.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office collaboration in Sunderland .
