Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging football coaching sessions that align with development philosophies.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate training programs to improve technical, tactical, and physical skills.
• Create a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment for all participants.
• Assess player performance and provide constructive feedback to aid development.
• Organise and manage participation in local leagues and tournaments.
• Promote the club's values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.

Requirements

• FA Level 1 or Level 2 Coaching Qualification is essential.
• Previous experience coaching football, preferably with youth teams.
• Strong understanding of football coaching methodologies and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with players, parents, and staff.
• Valid First Aid certificate and Safeguarding Children qualification.
• A genuine passion for football and coaching young people in Sunderland .
