About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven E-commerce Analyst to provide critical insights into online performance, customer behaviour, and sales trends. This role is essential for optimizing the e-commerce strategy and driving business growth through informed decision-making. You will work with complex datasets to identify patterns, opportunities, and challenges, translating them into actionable recommendations for the e-commerce and marketing teams in Liverpool . Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various e-commerce platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, sales databases).
- Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, customer acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value.
- Identify trends in customer behaviour, purchasing patterns, and website navigation to suggest improvements.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to optimize website performance, user experience, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the marketing, product, and sales teams to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor competitor performance and market trends to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce analytics, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders in Liverpool .
