E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Southampton . This role is critical for understanding customer behavior, identifying sales trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize online performance. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams, utilizing data to drive strategic decisions and improve the overall customer journey. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify key trends and patterns.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online sales and marketing effectiveness.
• Conduct A/B testing and user experience analysis to identify areas for website optimization.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to understand campaign performance and customer insights.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic planning.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
