About the Role
Our client is looking for a data-driven and analytical E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Derby . This hybrid role involves analyzing complex datasets to provide actionable insights that drive e-commerce strategy and performance. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand customer behavior, optimize conversion rates, and identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a passion for uncovering trends within the online retail space, contributing significantly to informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze e-commerce data, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
- Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for online business.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving the online customer journey and sales performance.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website elements and marketing campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations to various departments to support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst or Data Analyst with a focus on online retail.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely.
- Experience working in a hybrid or remote team environment is beneficial.
