About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Bristol . This role is crucial for understanding customer behavior, optimizing website performance, and identifying key drivers of online sales. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to provide actionable insights that inform marketing, sales, and product development strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from website analytics, sales reports, and marketing campaigns to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key e-commerce performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, AOV, traffic sources).
- Conduct A/B testing on website elements and marketing campaigns to optimize user experience and conversion rates.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve website usability, customer journey, and overall sales performance.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, using data to inform strategic decisions.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to various stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within the e-commerce sector.
- Strong proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce principles and online marketing channels.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
