E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators, generating reports, and providing recommendations to optimize website performance, marketing campaigns, and product strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to website traffic, sales, customer behaviour, and marketing campaign performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business improvements.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website conversion rates, user experience, and marketing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to define data requirements and support strategic initiatives.
• Stay current with industry best practices in e-commerce analytics and data visualization tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related area.
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within an e-commerce or digital marketing context.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences in a hybrid work setting in Portsmouth .
