About the Role
Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Portsmouth . In this hybrid role, you will dive deep into data to uncover insights that drive online sales growth and improve customer experience. You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators, generating reports, and providing recommendations to optimize website performance, marketing campaigns, and product strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to website traffic, sales, customer behaviour, and marketing campaign performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business improvements.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website conversion rates, user experience, and marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to define data requirements and support strategic initiatives.
- Stay current with industry best practices in e-commerce analytics and data visualization tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related area.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within an e-commerce or digital marketing context.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences in a hybrid work setting in Portsmouth .
