About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join a dedicated team in a well-regarded nursery setting in Southampton . This role is essential in providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children, focusing on their early development and learning through play. You will be responsible for implementing engaging activities that cater to the individual needs of each child, fostering their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all areas of the early years curriculum.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and carers.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your care, adhering to safeguarding policies.
• Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment, providing a range of stimulating resources and experiences.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare and Education.
• Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting .
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for early childhood development and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
