About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Energy Storage Solutions Engineer to join their innovative team in Liverpool . This role is central to the development and implementation of cutting-edge energy storage systems, including battery energy storage systems (BESS) and other advanced technologies. You will work on projects that are critical for grid stability, renewable energy integration, and providing reliable power solutions. This position requires a hands-on approach and close collaboration with project teams and external partners to deliver state-of-the-art energy storage installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer energy storage systems, specifying components such as batteries, inverters, and control systems.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and site assessments for potential energy storage projects.
• Develop system integration plans and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of energy storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution and operation.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the design, engineering, or implementation of energy storage systems or related power electronics.
• Understanding of battery technologies, grid-tied inverters, and energy management systems.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and electrical codes for energy storage installations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
