Our client is seeking a reliable and organised Event Catering Supervisor to join their team in Oxford . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of catering services during events, leading a team of catering assistants, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will work closely with the Catering Manager to uphold high standards of food quality, service, and presentation. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise catering staff during events, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to standards.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering areas, ensuring presentation and functionality.
• Coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor stock levels of catering supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Address client and guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all service areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within catering or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of food service operations and customer service principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.
