Our client is seeking a driven and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their expanding finance team in Brighton . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Support the annual budgeting process and ad-hoc financial analysis requests.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure financial plans align with business objectives.
- Assist in the evaluation of new business initiatives and investment opportunities.
Requirements
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a strong finance graduate with relevant experience.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling techniques.
- Experience with financial reporting software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex financial information clearly.
