About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their expanding finance team in Brighton . This role is instrumental in providing financial insights, driving forecasting accuracy, and supporting strategic business planning. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand financial performance, develop robust budgets, and identify key drivers of profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Support the annual budgeting process and ad-hoc financial analysis requests.
• Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure financial plans align with business objectives.
• Assist in the evaluation of new business initiatives and investment opportunities.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a strong finance graduate with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling techniques.
• Experience with financial reporting software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex financial information clearly.
