About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their finance team, operating fully remotely. This critical role will focus on providing insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic planning, and driving business performance through robust forecasting and budgeting processes. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand business drivers, model financial scenarios, and present key findings to senior leadership. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional to contribute significantly to the company's strategic direction from a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key trends and variances.
- Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and modelling, including M&A activities and new product launches.
- Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and provide insights into operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance the efficiency of FP&A activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an FP&A Analyst role or similar, with strong modelling skills.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
