Our client is seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their finance team in Nottingham . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company strategy.
- Develop financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the banking and finance sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
