Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead their FP&A function in Reading . This role is responsible for driving the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. You will provide critical financial insights and analysis to support business performance improvement and strategic decision-making across the organisation. This is a key leadership position for a finance professional with strong analytical acumen and excellent communication skills, looking for a role that balances office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment analysis, and scenario planning.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and the board.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers of variance, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial discipline and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
