About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Risk Manager to join their dedicated risk management team. This is a fully remote position requiring a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks across the organization. You will develop and implement robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to safeguard the company's financial stability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial risk management frameworks and policies.
- Conduct regular assessments of market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk.
- Design and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and performance metrics.
- Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Advise business units on risk mitigation strategies and best practices.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in financial risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial risk management, quantitative analysis, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of various financial risk types and mitigation techniques.
- Proficiency in risk modeling software, statistical analysis tools, and data visualization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk concepts clearly.
