Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to lead a key function within a dynamic organisation. This role is predominantly remote , allowing for significant flexibility while still requiring occasional travel to the Bristol office for critical meetings. You will be responsible for developing robust financial plans, providing strategic insights, and driving performance management across the business. This leadership role is crucial for shaping the company's financial future and requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance, identify risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management reports, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure financial plans align with strategic objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 7 years of relevant FP&A experience.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a finance team in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Strong business acumen and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial planning software and advanced Excel skills are essential.
